GEOFF MEED BIO
Geoff Meed is a martial artist and instructor with a background built in real-world environments where violence isn’t theoretical—it’s something you deal with.
His experience includes high-risk security work in nightlife and live events, including mosh pit concert environments, as well as his current role as a Security Specialist in a busy metropolitan hospital emergency department and trauma center. In these settings, he operates in fast-moving, high-pressure situations where control, awareness, and decisive action matter.
In addition to his real-world experience, Geoff has a background in martial arts competition and the entertainment industry, giving him a clear understanding of the difference between what works in sport, what looks good on camera, and what actually works when it counts.
MISD was built from that perspective—to provide practical, structured self-protection training grounded in reality. His focus is on teaching efficient, effective techniques that can be applied in real-life situations, not theory or performance.
With his two Belgian Malinois’ Arya and Onyx.
